 | The new ML (Limited) class of drivers licence introduced in 2006, is only
valid for scooters with an engine displacement of 50 cc or less, and a
maximum speed of less than 70 kph.

 | To operate any scooter with a larger engine, you must obtain an
unrestricted M class licence.

 | Both the M and the ML classes require operators to complete all phases of
the graduated licensing system (M1, M2, M).

 | With your unrestricted M licence you may operate any
"Full-speed" Motorcycle as well as your scooter. |
